光线

有时候在燕屋完成后，很多小小的地方我们需要观察。很多时候我在燕屋完成后，会将所以的灯光关掉，然后在燕屋内观察燕屋内的光线。这次在KUCHING的一间燕屋，就发现这个问题。燕屋内的光线虽然很弱，但是就是这些光线会对我们的燕屋造成很大的影响。
A lot of small mistake we need to rectify after the farm completed. We need to switch off the light to observe the darkness in the farm after the farm completed. This trip i was in kuching, i noticed a farm i visited with this mistake. Eventhough the lihgt inside the farm is quite weak, but this mistake will cause the farm face a lot of problem

屋主没有在燕屋完成后，观察燕屋的光线。虽然我进入燕屋内觉得这些光线不是很强，但是根据我的经验，这些光线就会造成很大的影响。燕子在进入燕屋内，燕屋的内部是很暗的。但是燕子突然看见这些光线，就会造成燕子有很大的惊吓。
the owner never observe the darkness after he completed the farm. Altough i felt the light is not strong, but based on my experience, this light will cause a lot of problem. After the swifltlet entered the farm, internal part of farm is dark. Imagine the swiftlet suddenly expose to the light, the bird wll feel shock.

为什么我们的燕屋必需暗？
why the farm must be dark??

原因是燕子觉得在这样的情况下它们才会觉得安全。如果燕子在进入你的燕屋后，突然觉得有强光照射着它，你觉得燕子还会觉得这燕屋是安全的吗？
The reason is the swiftlet will feel safer in a dark enviroment. If the swiftlet suddenly expose to the light after they enter the farm, do you think the bird will feel safe and stay in our farm??

所以你在燕屋完成后，最好是将燕屋内的所有光线关掉。然后你就在燕屋内小心的观察在什么地方有光线照入燕屋内。这时候你可以很容易的将任何对燕子有影响的光线关掉。
It is advisible to switch off the light in the farm after the farm completed. You must observed carefully any light shine into the farm, You must reduce the light shine into the farm

引燕是一站式的活动

我参观过很多燕屋，也改过不少的燕屋，但是我发现很多人在引燕的过程中没有将全部燕子需要的条件弄好就开始引燕。结果大家都知道怎样。
i visited and revamp a lot of Bh, but i noticed that many investors are not prepared the ideal microhabitat of swiftlet before they start attracting the bird.

当你在燕屋还在建设时，你就必需要知道如何做才能让你燕屋完成后就可以很容易的达到你燕子需要的东西。你必需要知道在燕屋完成后你在改良燕屋，这时你就必需付出更多的时间和精神。
During your Bh construction, you must kow how to plan you construction so that once the farm completed, the farm conditions are suitable for swiftlet. You will waste a lot of time if the farm need to revamp.

引燕是一个一站式的活动。你必需在燕屋开始后，燕屋内的温度，湿度是燕子所需要的。这些就是一间燕屋最基本的条件。但是我发现虽然很都知道燕屋理想的温度和湿度，不过不是全部人都会控制。
Swiftlet farming is an one stop activity. You must make sure the farm micro like temperature, humidity, design are ideal after your farm completed. i noticed that everyone know about what is the ideal temperature and humidity but not everyone know how to control the humidity and temperature in the farm

燕屋的设计也是很重要。一间成功的燕屋是要让燕子可以轻易的进入燕屋内。很多的燕屋在设计时就要燕屋内很暗，但是却没有想过燕子是否可以轻易的进入。往往燕屋内是很暗，但是燕子却很难进入。
Farm design are importance too. a good farm is the farm which the bird can enter the internal part of farm easily. A lot of farm never consider this point. The result is the farm are dark, but the bird face difficulty enter the farm.

燕声也是影响燕屋的表现。懂得利用燕子的对燕声的习性而引燕，燕屋的成功率就会提高。我开发集燕系统也是因为了解燕子对燕声的习性。
Sound is a importance part too. If you know how to follow the behavior of swiftlet to lure bird, you farm sucess rate will increase. My swiftlet garthering system is base on the behavior of swiftlet to design the system

在燕屋一段时间后，你就必需要管理燕屋。燕屋内是否有什么问题能影响燕屋成长，你就必需立刻的解决它。不要等到燕子离开燕屋后才有所行动。
The management of farm is the key of sucess farm. After the bird stay in your farm, you must find out any problem in the farm will influence the growing of the farm. You must take immediate action to solve the problem before the bird leave your house.

燕屋是需要全部的条件正确，燕屋的成功率才会提高。
A sucess farm is the every condition of the farm are ideal and friendly to swiftlet.

一间燕屋的成功跟屋主有很大的关系。一个会管理燕屋的屋主，他燕屋的成绩是会一直的成长。

刚从东海岸回来，带着很满意的心情。这次去东海岸是要设计另一间燕屋，同时看看3个月前改良燕屋的成绩。
Came back from east coast with happy mood. This trip to east coast is to design an other farm, ath the same time to visit a standalone farm i revamped 3 month before.

这间改良的独立式燕屋之前已经2年了，里面有大约40粒窝。这次进入这燕屋时，可以感觉得到燕屋内的环境已经控制在很好的阶段。不管是温度，湿度等等条件都在很理想的阶段。同时装上集燕系统以吸引更多的燕子到来。

This standalone farm only have about 40 pieces of nest of after 2 years. I revamped it 3 month ago. After entering the farm, i can feel the microhabitat are controlled well. Temperature, humidity are in the ideal level. At the same time, my swiftlet gathering system work very well and attract a lot of swiftlet.

当我们在下午大约1PM进入燕屋时，就可以看见燕屋内有很多的燕子。这是一个很好的现象。

we entered the farm about 1Pm, we saw a lot of bird inside the farm, it is a good sign.

我可以很肯定燕屋内应该增加很多燕子和燕窝。

i'm sure the nest and bird population increase a lot.

我们开始计算燕窝的数量，看看在短短的3个月内燕屋的增长。

we started counting the nest, to make sure the farm growing rate.

30。。。。40。。。。。。50。。。。

60。。。。。70。。。。。

已经完成的燕窝在短短的3个月内从40＋＋燕窝增加到70＋＋燕窝。

the full cup nest increase from 40++ pieces to 70++ pieces in 3 month.

除了已经完成的燕窝，我们也看见燕屋内有50＋＋的“打底”。

besides the full cup nest, we also noticed about 50++marking inside the farm.

现在可以看见物主展现之前没有的笑容和惊讶的表情。

i can see the owner with a smile and unbelieveable face.

但是我们也发现一些不好的东西就是燕窝内已经有很多蚂蚁。现在最主要的是将这些蚂蚁解决，才能让燕屋更快的成长。

But we noticed an other problem is a lot od ants inside the farm. The main action now is to eliminate the ants inside the farm tp make sure the farm keep growing.

虽然燕屋是在很好的地点，但是你一定要好好的控制燕屋每一个细节，才能让燕屋成功。

you have to controll the every single things inside the farm to make sure the farm grow.

同时我必须说是集燕系统扮演很重要的角色。

设计

现在在马来西亚看见越来越多人以 “龙口”式燕屋设计。这一种设计是源至印尼，但是这一类的设计有一些秘诀你必需懂得，才能有好的成绩。
More and more farms are using the "gua naga( indonesia term) as design.this design origin from indonesia. but you must understand some hints of this design to get a good result


我在印尼和泰国看见这一类的设计，但是我发现如果你在马来西亚以完全根据印尼龙口式的设计，你就会面对一些问题。
i saw this design in indonesia and thailand before, but i feel that if you follow this indonesia design exactly , you will face some problems.

这次我是因为一个读者，有就会再次看见龙口式的设计。我觉得这个读者虽然刚开始加入养燕业不久，但是他的燕屋设计却是很好。MR H，懂得很用心的观测马来西亚燕屋的设计方式和燕子习性，在配合印尼龙口式燕屋设计。MR H有几间龙口式的燕屋都有不错的成绩。
I had visited a farm with this design last week. Mr H involved in swiftlet farming recently but the design of his farms are good. He evaluated the behavior of swiftlet, design of farms in malaysia, finally he combine the design with "gua naga". Result of farm with "gua naga" presented a good result.

在我看见的龙口式设计，我发现
i noticed that

1) 在印尼和泰国，他们燕屋外洞和马来西亚是有分别的。在这两个国家，你可以看见燕屋的外洞是比马来西亚来的小。通常他们的外洞是大约20CM X 80CM。但是我发现如果在马来西亚以这规格的人口，燕子不是很喜欢。一般上载马来西亚的人口是60CM X 60CM 或更大。
如果你在马来西亚，尽量保持这样的人口规格。
1) the entrance of Bh in malaysia are difference with indonesia and thailand. In thailand and indonesia, the entrance is smaller. normally the size of entrance is 20cm x 80cm. But i noticed if the farm in malaysia follow this size, swiftlet will face difficulty in entering the farm. The entrance size in malaysia normally is 60cm x 60cm or bigger.
2)内洞的规格

在印尼，不管是外洞或内洞，他们的设计都是将这些人口缩小。但是在马来西亚，你可以将内洞扩大，这样燕子才不会觉得“压力”和更容易进入燕屋内。所以我建议如果你考虑在马来西亚以龙口式设计就根据这里燕子的习性而设计。

internal entrance size

Size of internal and external entrance in thailand and indonesia are smaller. i suggest you try to follow the swiftlet behavior to determine the size of internal entrance. swiftlet will not ' feel "stress" if the internal entrance is bigger.

3)引导声

印尼和泰国的燕屋很少好好利用引导声。他们的设计是在燕子进入燕屋的外洞后，就让燕子自己寻找燕屋的内洞，然后自己飞入燕屋内。既然我们已经知道引导声的好处，我们就应该好好利用这个优点，将燕子更快的引到燕屋里。
Guilding sound

i noticed the farms in indonesia and thailand hardly use the guiding sound to guild the swiftlet into the farm. Their design are after the bird enter the external sound, the bird have to explore the internal part of farm without any guide. But we know about the importance of guiding sound, we must implement in our farm to make sure the bird go into our farm faster.

引导声

很多人会很混乱，引导声和外声，内声有什么分别。
many reader always asked me what is "guiding sound". Many readers are confusing the difference between external sound, guiding sound and internal sound.

内声，顾名思义，就是燕屋内用来将新来的燕子安定下来，然后安顿在燕屋内。
internal sound is the sound we played inside the bh. Main purpose of internal sound is to create a comfortable feeling for the bird to stay in our bh.

外声，就是我们燕屋入口所用的声音，目的就是要将燕子吸引来你燕屋，然后进入你燕屋内。
external sound is the sound we played at the entrance. External sound will attract the swiftlet approaching your farm/bh , then entering your farm ( your micro must be ideal before the bird decided to stay.)

引导声呢？？
what is Guiding sound???

其实，引导声就是和外声一样的声音。但是它最主要的目的就是在燕子测试你的入口后，然后就是引导那些新来的燕子进入燕屋的内部。一般上我是将引导声放在我希望燕子到了的地方，尤其是筑窝区。引导声的安排必需要部署在正确的地方，燕子才不会觉得混乱和压力。
Honestly, the guiding sound is same with the external sound. But the function of the guiding sound is to guide the new young bird to go to inner part of our farming. Normally i will place the guiding sound at the place i wish the bird to go, especially at nesting area. But the arrangement of guiding sound must be correct. the swifltet will confuse and stress if the guiding sound place improperly.

当你希望燕子到你的筑窝区，你就要将引导声方在靠近筑窝区。这样燕子才能根据你的引导声来到燕屋的住窝区。
if you wish the bird come to nesting area, your guiding sound must be placed near to the nesting area. the bird will follow the guiding sound to nesting area.

当你希望燕子从燕屋的地板洞到另一层，引导声就必需放在靠近地板洞。这样燕子才能根据你的引导声进入燕屋的另一层。
if you wish the bird dive from top floor to lower floor, the guiding sound must be place near to the LAL (lubang antara lantai). the sound will guild the swiftlet dive to lower floor.

引导声，如果你真正的懂得利用，它的效果会很不错的。
the guiding sound will give a good effect if you know how to use it.
